What philosophical and social perspectives do we associate with a public cultural institution like the municipal or state theatre, and can the New European Bauhaus be a compass for them? What arguments for sustaining public cultural institutions are valid in the current crises, and how should municipal or state theatre and independent theatre complement each other in an ideal world? How can cities and communities take more advantage of the potential of cultural institutions, and what economic and legislative obstacles do they face? The answers to the questions mentioned above will be sought in the Forum for the Future of Culture Prague, with the title Public Cultural Institution in 21st Century. The Forum is held as part of the Forum for the Future of Culture, initiated in 2017 by Teatr Powszechny Warsaw.
